"Service is terrible !!"

The service is a nightmare ! I booked a suite (royal VIP) with communicating room. I was supposed to have a easy dedicated check in (it took 30mins!)During the entire stay, the service was incredibly poor (wrong in room delivery, access cards having issues, never a smile......)The food is good in restaurants in the lower ground galery but the restaurants of the hotel itself are terrible...

"Fabulous stay"

Stay with a group for a 40th and we all had the best time. The staff were super friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend staying here, especially imperial club package, as it included access to longe on the 12th floor with a lovely view. Just Perfect!!

"Perfect Holiday Family Destination"

Lovely holiday well spent at Atlantis, variety of resturants, activities for kids, the dolphin encounters experience was fantastic, and the best place where our son loved spending all his day at was the waterpark.

"Staffs are so rude and dishonest"

The staff insisted me to pay the nights that I already paid in Expedia. Quened for 30 mins and Spent about 30 mins to sort out, but asked me to come back for the keys after 3pm, Quened for another 20 mins. When checking out, the Staff asked me to pay the city tax again. I told her I have paid but she asked me for receipt which I was not given, spent another 30 mins on the counter to sort out. She was so rude to me. Refused to give me a city tax paper receipt until I insisted I ll leave unless she gives me. She stared at me and just threw the paper receipt so impolitely will never visit

"The hotel service, mail i wrote"

I am not happy with the service of the hotel,1) i asked for a smoking room, but i have a small terrace to smoke.2) none of your staff greeting is appropriate, everyone speaks rough, from valet to reception3) when i had done a reservation on my corporate card, they blocked my money and didn’t charge it, here they ask me for a new card, so i had to spend my money differently, which i had got for spending, my corporate card is at my office and i had got a message “your card is been debited for booking at atlantis”, refund takes time4) after spending soo much the person allots me a 6th floor room with ok ok view5) coming to conversation of peoplea) i reach at the lobby, next thing i see a angry valet coming to me picking up my luggage, asking me information with no greetings, I atleast expected a smile or goodmorning, all he says how many bags whats your room number, i was like i dont know, all he said is never mind just go, that how you treat your guest? I was expecting “ dont worry sir we will handle it with smile on his face”B) entering the hotel going to the reception, it took half an hour to sort out things when all the things were already informed to you, then came the payment issue for the money blocked before i was like just charge it, no i need a different card, i paid and asked is my room smoking the guy said no but there is a small outside section, i was like ok and 20 mins he only took on marketing, sir upgrade this that.. i was like no i wont be in the hotel i have function, with a bad looks he said then thats your problem, gave me a sixth floor, i said i gave you big payment for better view give me higher floor, he was like no sir this is a great roomC) i go to the room get freshen up, call room dinning, as usual that we dont care voice, i asked so what do you suggest in chicken starters, usually everyone does that and we expect greetings, and i get “ havent you read the menu” i was like ok, so i start ordering half the menu was not available from the given menu My first day and first time was worst to atlantis, never expected such a service Please look into the matter, looking for good service, and also if you could forward my mail to the senior manager RegardsSanket pate

"Fun family holiday"

The Atlantis Palm is a large scale luxury hotel. It has a dominant location on the Palm and makes an iconic outline at the far end of the man made island. The hotel is huge, with ornate lobbies and a very large pool. There are many, many restaurants and bars and the giant centrally placed aquarium. The water park and mall are adjacent to the hotel. Pretty much everything you need for your holiday are in the immediate vicinity and there are golf buggies to transport you from place to place in the oppressive heat. Many guests are on half board and it seems to work well. The Imperial Club is worth paying extra for, with snacks available during the day and then the happy hour before dinner. It is a good place for a week holiday with the kids in the UK October school holidays. I suspect those aged between 5-15 would enjoy it most. The water park is a lot of fun, but it does get busy. Only downside is that, as a result of the size of the place and the sheer number of guests, it can get a bit chaotic in places. Still a fun family holiday, though.

"Getting too busy"

This is the 4th time I have visited the Atlantis and I have to say I still love it although it is now much busier than previous visits. The hotel its self is in a fantastic location and the staff can not be faulted. Be aware a visit to the Atlantis can not be done on a budget. It is very very expensive to stay here. We stayed on a half board basis and although drinks are free with breakfast with an evening meal all drink including water and juice has to be paid for. We were charges £7 for a glass of apple juice and around £10 for a bottle of water. Don,t even think about the price of alcoholic drinks. We arrived about 2am and our grandson took a small packet of Malteasers out of the mini bar. That was £6.47. I kid you not. That is a rip off in anyones book. The water park is open to the public and on our first day there were hundreds of males for an engineering company having a day out. All of the rides require you to use rubber tubes and people once they get one keep them so in the end there are non left. The park gets to busy with very long queues residents do not get any priority. After a couple of days we no longer used the park and instead used the much quieter pools. This hotel is fantastic but it is for families with children. I would not stay as a couple. It is not relaxing. We visited the Burj Khalifa and caught a beige local taxi at the hotel. Cost was 62 Dirham however on return we were directed to a non liveried taxi back to the hotel cost 120 Dirham. Be careful you can easily get ripped off. All in all a fantastic hotel for families but be prepared for some heavy bills.

"5 STAR BUILDERS YARD"

Definitely the worst 5 STAR holiday EVER!. Atlantis the Palm is a busy building site inside and out, plus now a commercial heliport on the properties west side. The Beach experience was unbearable, very loud music tries to drown out the constant helicopter jet rotors and building demolition /refurbishment jack hammers. Travel information offered is not accurate, this hotel is also crowded with thousands of day visitors clogging up the public areas, cue for reception, cue for breakfast and cue for evening meals. This is not 5 STAR experience. Staff brilliant, the rooms clean, £7 for tap water is a little rich! GET READY FOR THE IMPERIAL UPGRADE UPSELL on arrival, then a massive wait if you arrive in the early morning!. Disgusted!

"Dubai's Iconic Resort"

The Atlantis, The Palm is one of Dubai's most photographed and Iconic buildings along with the Khalifa and the Al Arab. As you drive towards the resort you instantly get the full sense of grandeur which continues once you enter the foyer. The building is beautiful and has plenty to offer. No matter which room you have there is always a water views. There is so much to see and do whether it is just strolling through the shops, viewing the aquarium, restaurants, water parks, water activities or just lazing around the pools. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms are well appointed, clean and tidy. To make your stay even more special I would recommend the VIP club which gives you access to the Imperial club room which gives you access to breakfast, afternoon tea and nightly all inclusive drinks between 5pm - 7pm. There are two rooms, ground floor on West wing and level 12 on East wing with exceptional views. The only negative I could find is the club rooms do get busy and often there is a queue but moves quickly. I was told there is a new club room coming early next year. Definitely the pick of the bunch.
