"Absolutely amazing"

I was here for 4 nights as a prize through work. In all honesty I didn't think it would be the kind of hotel I would normally choose to due to the size and family appeal, but I was completely wrong. I think upgrading to the Imperial club made all the difference as it was a haven you could go to for a quiet drink or breakfast. The happy hour between 5 & 7 with complimentary drinks was a great bonus and you could watch the sunset from the beautiful terrace. Previously there were 2 small club lounges tgat tended to get very busy, so the hotel has listened to feedback and created this new space which works well. Food was great in the main dining room, Kaleidoscope. We also ate in Nobu which was top notch. The water park was fun & I also really enjoyed the Nasimi Beach Club. My favourite place in the evening was the new Wavehouse. It had everything from bowling & arcade games to a sure simulator, to a sports bar & a great outside terrace bar that had live bands & DJ entertainment. It had a great buzz about the place. The rooms were spacious with great views & maid service excellent. In fact all the staff in the hotel couldn't do enough for you and always had a smile & a hello. So my pre-conceived idea that it was a hotel just for families was completely wrong and although it is a paradise for kids & families I also found it a paradise for me. If you've booked to go...lucky you. Enjoy. Read more

"Imperial suite and bar"

Bar staff in the imperial suite were absolutely brilliant, after a long day in the sun it’s nice to come back to a chilled setting and be served with a wide selection of drinks and a few snacks from Liz, Alfan and Birus. On a whole the holiday was excellent! Read more

We have not received the booked rooms. 1 ok, 2 wrong received 1000.-- Dirham credit voucher) Mr. Saad from the reception is...... unfriendly and arrogant, incapacitted. Pamela from the Seafire can not handle complaint. Have you see her smiling when the guest arrived? Very poor.. Simone(from the Aquapark Cabanas) was perfect organised and help us to have a great day. "Awesome stay with great facilities!!"

One should at least spend a day/night in Atlantis. Of all our experience in Dubai, the stay here was the best. The best part was free access to the water park..and the private beach was also great.. Will definitely recommend to try this place. Read more

"As long as you pay, it works..."

We are a family of 4, with 2 kids 14 & 11. I booked and prepaid for 3 nights half-board, breakfast and dinner. As our plane was a bit late, we arrived at 23:10 where we were told straight away that we have missed the dinner (in a 5 star hotel) and our only option was to have in-room dinner. The lady at the counter told me that she would give me an "allocation" of 385 AED for the 4 of us. Just to get an idea, the brunch in the buffet restaurants Saffron or Kaleidoscope is priced ~535 AED/person. We went to the room, ordered from a menu book (a club sandwich is around 135 AED, a Caesar salad around that as well) so we could barely get 1 dish per person for the amount allocated to us. On top of this, the bell boy came with his POS machine to cash the dinner. After a lengthy explanation, he went INTO our room to make a phone call to clear the matter. Next day was our dolphin experience. Upon arrival, they wanted to see my reservation but I could not find it on my phone. It is to be noted that I had made it online (with great pain as the website didn't work. After several attempts and 2 unanswered emails, I had to call and was charged "full price" because I did not do it on-line!). They guy was looking at me as if he caught me but when I asked him to simply go through his list of reservations, "we" quickly found my name. Frankly, did not understand the whole attitude…That being said, we really enjoyed the dolphins. The waterpark was really crowded and consequently we had long queues. But guess what? If you get the Aquaexpress pass for ONLY 420 AED ($115) per day per person!!!, you can short circuit the queue. On one of the attractions, the Poseidon’s Revenge, we waited about 40 minutes. When at last we were in the final stretch, the guy in charge asked about the weight of my 11 year son, and then put him on a balance to finally conclude that he could not make it. A few minutes later, he looked at my 14 year daughter, again weighted her and told her that she could not make it either! I still waited another 10 minutes for my turn and…guess what? The machine went out of order! No apology whatsoever, no sign to warn for weight requirements… While checking out, the front desk officer asked me AGAIN about that 1st night dinner that I did not pay. Ah, forgot to mention that there was a sewage smell in the 4,000 AED/night room. Dreadful experience… Read more
